I pulled my phone out to text Madison, and saw I already had a text from him.

Hey babe, I miss you :(

Aww, he was so cute.

Madisonnnn. I miss you too, but I’ll see you tomorrow(:

I should come over there…

NO. Stay with Nick and Mikey. Have fun with them, dance and play video games I don’t know.

Haha, don’t want me there babe?

Madison. Don’t be ridicules. I would love if you could come over. But right now, it’s girl time, and you are having guy time. So have fun.

Alright, I’ll text you soon, Mikey just got here.

I smiled and put my phone away and turned back to Maddy and Jackie.

“Come on Jackie. Tell us what happened.” Maddy shook Jackie’s shoulders and Jackie mumbled in return.

“Vinny ditched me.” She said after a long moment of silence had gone by. My jaw dropped and I turned to look at Maddy, who looked just as surprised as me.

“What do you mean?” I wanted… needed to hear more. “Well… we went to the mall together after the baseball game. We shopped for a bit, and then we went to eat at the cheesecake factory. So we had barely started eating when these girls came up to him. They weren’t rude, but asked Vinny if they could get an autograph and a picture. He asked me if it was okay and I said yes, so he got up and walked outside to go take the picture. So I just sat there and waited for him to come back. Ten minutes later, no Vinny. Twenty minutes later, no Vinny. Thirty minutes later, STILL no Vinny. So I finally got tired and went to see what was taking him so long, and I find one of the girls left just sitting talking to him. They were sitting on the fountain and she was really close to Vinny. But he didn’t even seem to care. So I was about to go over there, and then she grabbed his hand and he held her hand while they laughed together. And then she pulled him up and they walked off somewhere. So I walked back in, paid the bill, walked out, and then went to wait for Maddy to come pick me up.” She rushed through it, wanting to get the memory over with.

I sighed with frustration and stood up. I pulled my phone out and she jumped up. “Who are you calling?” She tried to grab my phone but I moved so she wouldn’t be able to grab it. “I’m calling Vincent.” I hit the call button and he answered after the third ring.

“Umm… Vinny?”

“Vinny hurry up!” A girl’s voice came through the phone.

“Uh, hey Lilly. What’s up?”

“Your girlfriend is what’s up Vinny.”

“What’s wrong with Jackie?” The girls laughter came through the phone and I growled.

“She’s sitting here in tears because you ditched her on her date. Like what the hell… who would do that?”

“It wasn’t my fault! I met someone and she was a really big fan so we talked for a bit, and then we got up to go get a coffee, and shop a bit, and then we came back and I went to our table to find her not there and some other couple there. But I was only gone for like ten minutes. Fifteen at the most.” The way he said it made me grit my teeth.

“No Vincent. You were gone for more than thirty minutes. When you realize the mistake you made, call us back.” I hung up the phone with that and turned to a shocked Jackie.

“I can’t believe you just did that.” She slumped back on the bed and looked at Maddy before returning her attention back to me. “He’s not going to call back.” She added. She looked down and I began to feel bad. What if I just messed things up…?

“Well… I was going to take you guys to a party at the fearless club. I made sure to grab your Student I.D. when we were at your house Lilly, and I knew Jackie had hers in her wallet. So, you guys want to go? Jackie, it’d be good for you, getting out and having fun.” Maddy grabbed Jackie’s hands and squeezed them while she asked her to come. “Yeah, I guess so. I mean, it would be fun to get out and dance and have fun.” She smiled and Maddy clapped.

“I don’t know if I can go…” I said softly. Both Jackie and Maddy’s heads turned to look at me, and I started to blush with embarrassment. “Madison doesn’t know I’m going to a party.” I told their questioningly glances. Maddy sighed, annoyance heavy in her tone. “Madison isn’t going to tell you everything he does. And he won’t care that you’re going to fearless. Come on Lilly.” Maddy crossed her arms and I sighed as I gave in. “Fine.” I mumbled. She jumped up and down with excitement and ran to her closet. “Cute clothes for tonight ladies.” She buried herself deeper in her closet and I took out my phone.

I quickly set Madison’s ringtone to Boyfriend by Justin Bieber before texting him.

Hey babe(: I was missing you </3 Whatcha doing?

I smiled and tucked my phone away in my pocket before walking to my bag to pick out something cute for tonight. What would Madison like?

 I chose an Indian style top that was orange at the top and faded into yellow as it moved down. A simple pair of Hollister shorts, some H&M sandals, and walked to the bathroom to change. When I came back in, I saw Jackie wearing white Hollister shorts, a black Wild One shirt, and silver crochet classic Toms. Maddy was also wearing Hollister shorts, a leopard heart print t-shirt, an owl necklace, and Ugg Lucianna wrap sandals. (POLYVORE SET)

I smiled at their outfits. “You guys look cute.” I sat on Maddy’s bed while she searched through her jewelry box. “Thanks, you do to. Here, Nick and I got some stuff for you guys. He gave me these…” she tossed each of us an ICONic boyz silicon bracelet. “And Jackie, we got you this.” She gently tossed her a white box, and she smiled before opening it. She pulled out a gold four leaf clover necklace, and her mouth flew open before she smiled. “It’s the one I told you about from that jewelry store at the corner of the mall! Thanks Maddy.” She got up and walked over to hug her. “No problem. Jackie, Nick and I go this for you. The idea was Nick’s.” she handed me a white box like Jackie’s and I smiled before opening it. I opened it slowly and pulled out a small silver heart locket. My smile grew as I opened the small locket and the picture of Madison and I kissing that Maddy had taken earlier that day. “Thanks Maddy…” I hugged her tightly and pulled back with tears threating to spill over. “It’s beautiful.” I added. “Don’t thank me, Nick picked it out. I just took the picture and added it.” I couldn’t help but let the smile on my face grow. I loved Nick. He was like the brother I never had.

“I’d like to be everything you want, hey girl let me talk to you. If I was your boyfriend I’d never let you go. Keep you on my arm girl, you’d never be alone. And I could be a gentleman, anything you want. If I was your boyfriend, I’d never let you go.” I grinned and pulled out my phone and checked the text message I had gotten from Madison.

Aww, I’m just missing you <3 I’m going to be at Maddy ‘s house before you wake up so I can be with you. Being away from each other is killing me </3

He was just too adorable. I smiled before answering back.

Hehe, sounds good. Oh, could you tell Nick I loved the locket he picked out? Him and Maddy got me a locket with a picture of you and I kissing.

He answered back quickly.

That’s so cute(: he said you’re welcome and he knew you would like it. Mikey and Nick are yelling at me to stop texting and get back in the Nerf game, so I’ll text you later babe <3 

Alright Mad boy, have fun! Get Nick… give him a tatse of his own medicine(; I’ll call you later <3

“Done texting lover boy?” Maddy laughed and threw my Vera Bradley wallet at me. I smiled at it when I realized it was the one Madison had gotten me. That boy.

We all walked downstairs together and climbed into Maddy’s parents car. We didn’t talk much as we cruised down the main roads, pretty much just listening to the radio on the way there. I saw Maddy smile at her phone from the corner of my eye and knew she was texting Nick. They were so in love.

When we pulled up the line was unusually long, but Maddy just brushed it off and walked around the back. There was a smaller line that had Nick, the owner, at the door. When our group made it to the door, Maddy smiled at Nick and they talked for a bit before we all just walked in. Without paying or showing our Student I.D.’s. Even though it was just a teen club, it had the feeling like we were sneaking into some kind of bar.

We walked in and the smell of pizza and soda filled the air. I could make out the faces of the people around us from the beaming lights coming from the stage where the DJ blasted music through the place. Every time we came here, it was pretty much the same seen. Dance battles, the “cool kids” grinding, a corner of the place where couples or just hook-ups made out. When you were in a group, it was really fun. Maddy, Jackie and I were usual competitors in the dance battles, the boyz joining us if they were there.

All three of us walked around, being pulled into dance circles and just letting loose and dancing for the fun of it. None of us were really into it until starships came on.

Our song. This is the song Geo had been training all of the girls to open with for the boyz on their tour. We all exchanged a glance before running to the stage.

This is how it went. If you danced, and felt like doing so, you could go on the stage and dance. If anyone chooses to, they could battle you. They chose the next song and danced to it, than the crowd chose the winner. Simple really.

We climbed on the stage and broke out in our dance, cheers erupting from the crowd of teens. The DJ threw extra beats in to match our dance and it felt like I was dancing for my life. I was putting everything I had into it. My solo was coming up and I gave it my all. “I own that. And I’m not paying my rent this month I owe that. But **** who you want and **** who you like. Dance all life there’s no end in sight. Twinkle Twinkle little star.” I broke out in isolations, mastering everyone exactly as Geo had taught me. I stepped back and joined Maddy and Jackie as we finished the song. All of us ended in a perfect back hand spring. We all joined hand in hand and bowed to the roaring group of people.

“Let’s hear it for our first dancers of the night! Amazing ladies, really. What are your names so we can put you up on the battle board?” The DJ walked over to us and passed the mike down. “Jackie.” I looked over and saw her beaming in the bright shining lights above us. She needed this tonight. “Maddy.” Her name came out effortlessly as she basked in the glory. I could tell she also put everything she had into the dance and it was clearly showing how much she had accomplished in her heart. The mike was lowered to my lips and I confidently said my name into the mike. I looked into the applauding group of people, hundreds of faces flooding the room. Out of all those faces I recognized one. There was one face that clearly stood out.

Standing in the back corner of the room, with all the other couples and hook-ups for the night stood clapping, was Madison. Only he wasn’t clapping.

His arm was around Zoe’s back. His eyes locked into mine in guilt, fear, shame, and I could tell he was scared. He looked like a deer caught in headlights.

I knew I should have never fallen for him.

BEFORE YOU KNOW IT Chapter 9

Lilly’s Pov

“We have seven boyz, and seven girls, fourteen in all. Just enough for two teams. Which means one of the couples will have to split up. Any volunteers before we flip a coin?” Vinny had stepped in the middle of a circle we had made, and was dealing out the rules. Madison reached his hand down to grab mine, and he squeezed it tightly and never released his grip. I guess that was his way of telling me not to volunteer. “Come on guys, I hate being the one to split anyone up.” Vinny whined to the group.

“We’ll spilt up.” Leah said to Vinny from Jason’s arms. Jason kissed her cheek and she smiled. “Alright, so let’s see. Madison and Lilly, Nick and Maddy, Leah, along with Jackie and I will be one team. Jason, Thomas and Anne, Mikey and Sam, and Louis and Cali on the other team. Louis heads or tails?” Vinny flipped and coin caught it and flipped it over on his hand before looking over at Louis. “Tails for batting first.” Louis called.  Vinny moved his hand and showed it to Leah. “Heads, you guys have field.” Leah said confidently. I smiled as I ran over to bat first.

I picked up the familiar wooden bat Vinny, Nick, and Madison had picked up with Maddy, Jackie and I. All of the boyz, along with their girlfriend had carved they’re name in it, and I loved to rub my hand over the names and smile at the memory. I looked behind me and saw the line-up. I laughed when I saw Maddy and Jackie attempting to go last. Madison smiled at me and pointed forward to the pitcher. I turned and got in position waiting for Vinny to call game. I looked up from the plate and saw Jason was the pitcher. He was such a good pitcher; I doubted I would actually hit the ball. I suddenly got why Jackie and Maddy had tried to go last… so they wouldn’t strike out.

I smiled mischievously at him and cocked my head to the side, taunting him. He smiled back at me while he twirled the ball in his hand. “Alright guys, let’s play!” Vinny called out. Everyone whispered as Jason got ready to throw the ball, drawing his knee up as he brought his arm back. Focus on the ball, I thought. I took a deep breath and waited for the ball to leave his fingertips.

The ball came flying out of his hand so fast ,I didn’t think I could swing the bat fast enough to hit it. But when I heard a loud smack and something flying through the air, I realized I had actually hit it. I dropped the bat and sprinted to first, and then to second. I turned and looked at the direction where I had hit the ball, and Mikey was still chasing after it. I decided I could easily make it to third, so I continued running. I stopped on the base and looked around. Mikey was running after me with the ball in his hand. The rest of my team at home was telling me to keep running. I looked at Madison, who screamed run as soon as our eyes met. My feet took off and sand flew up in the air while I tried to get to the home plate. Mikey knew he wouldn’t make it, so he threw the ball to Jason, who was only a few feet away from me. I stopped when Jason came in front of my path with the ball in his hand.

I could run back to third, but I doubt I could make it. I was only a few feet from the plate. Maybe I could slide…

I took a few steps back and Jason stepped forward but I ran at him and slid under his legs, my foot just touching the home plate when I stopped sliding forward. My team cheered and rushed forward to pick me up. Nick got to me first and he pulled me up. “Thanks Nick.” I smiled at him and wiped my legs off. “Nice Lil.” Madison picked me up and threw me over his shoulder while I laughed. He started spinning me around and I held tighter onto him. He let me down when we got to the end of the line.

“Nice job cutie. You’re so good at sports. I was honestly shocked when you hit it, Jason’s always had a good throw, and that ball was coming so fast.” He stood behind me and put his head on my shoulder as he talked softly into my ear. I turned my head and smiled at him. I kissed right next to his lips and he grabbed hold of my face and leaned in to kiss me. I looked into his eyes and forgot about the game going on behind us except for the faint call of “Strike two.” I was so out of it, I didn’t even know who it was.

Madison crashed his lips to mine, and his arms wrapped around my waist pulling me up on my tiptoes as his lips held close against mine. I held onto the sides of his face and he picked me up and I lifted my feet off the ground and he spun us around. I smiled against his lips.  He made me feel so happy.

Madison finally broke the kiss and we were both breathing heavily. Just the feeling of his lips against mine, doing nothing but pressing against them, makes my head spin. There are so many feelings it makes it hard to breath. I looked up at him with a smile, and my smile grew when I saw he was looking at me too. He grabbed my hand and we walked over to the rest of the group, where they were all cheering for Nick, who had just also hit a home run.

“Nice job babe.” Maddy hugged him and kissed his cheek. “I hit a home run from one of Jason’s throws and all I get is a kiss. That’s so unfair… no, come here, I’m taking the kiss I want.” He crushed his lips against Maddy’s and they both were smiling as his lips led hers. You could see the deep red blush spreading over Maddy’s face as they kissed and it just made you smile. I swear they were the most perfect couple. They had been together almost two years before ABDC, and even through that they stayed loyal to each other. Now they are together every day and spend all the time they can together. It’s really cute too.

“Alright guys, stop kissing so we can get back to the game.” Mikey called with laughter from the field. Nick held up a finger telling him one minute, dipped Maddy back and finished the kiss.

I’ve never seen someone blush so deeply before. I couldn’t tell if it was because Nick kissed her in front of everyone, or if it was the way he kissed her. Either way, it made Nick smile.

We all started playing again, and when my team was beating the other by 27-0, they decided to forfeit. “WE WON!” Vinny screamed. We all laughed and cheered, while the other team sulked over.

“Hey Lilly, do you want to have a sleepover at my house tonight? Jackie, you and me?” Maddy asked me. I smiled and shook my head yes and she told me she would be by to pick me up later.

“What did Maddy want?” Madison wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and set his head on my shoulder. “She invited me over later.” “Did you say yes?” “Well yeah.” I heard Madison sigh so I turned around. “What’s wrong?” I didn’t like the frown he was now wearing on his face. “I wanted to spend the day with you.” He pulled me against him and hugged me tightly and I could tell it was going to be a while before he let go. Not that I have a problem with that at all. “I’m not going now Mad. She’s picking me up later, so come on, let’s go get ice cream.” I stood on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek and felt him smile. “Alright then.” He wrapped an arm around my waist and we walked to the others to say bye.

Nick was taking a sip of water when I ran over to him and jumped onto his back, making the water spill all over the front of his shirt. “Goodbye Nickyballs.” I kissed his cheek and laughed as I walked away. “Madison! Control your girlfriend, she just made me spill water all over my shirt.” Nick growled and I stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed and hugged Maddy, and she screamed when the water begun to sink through her shirt.

I walked to Vinny and he closed his eyes and held his arms open wide. “I’m ready for my hug.” He announced and half smiled. I giggled and hugged him tightly before kissing his cheek as well. “Bye Vinny, see you later, it was fun hanging out with you today, you should come more.” I told him while he put an arm around my shoulder. “I know I need to. I miss you guys.” He leaned closer to whisper in my ear. “Especially Mikey, I miss our Minny time.” I burst out laughing and quickly covered my mouth. “What did he just say?!” Mikey yelled from near Madison before running full speed towards Vinny. I screamed and broke away from Vinny’s held and ran towards Louis. “Every man for themselves!” I yelled to him as he ran from Mikey.

I quickly got to Louis and hid behind him. “Hide me Louis, I think Mikey is going to come for me next.” He just laughed and turned around to hug me goodbye and then ran to his own love bug. I looked over to Madison who smiled at me and I smiled back before being tackled to the ground.

I screamed and Mikey started laughing. “Get off me Michael.” I said through laughter. Mikey started laughing and stood up, than helped me up. I brushed myself off while Mikey kept laughing, and then hugged me. “You have to admit that was funny.” Mikey said with a huge smile on his face. “Yes, it was hilarious. Ha-ha. Now go on.” I kissed his cheek and pushed him and he ran to talk to Madison.

“THOMAS.” I yelled when I couldn’t see him. “Over here!” He called back. I turned around and he was pushing Vinny away as he yelled about Mikey getting him. I rolled my eyes and walked over to Thomas. “Bye best friend.” I hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek. He returned the gesture and smiled as I turned to walk away. I was about to walk over to Madison, but he was talking to Nick and Mikey about something, so I decided to drop it. I laid back in the grass and closed my eyes to rest for a minute.

“Forget about me?” My eye’s popped open to find Jason sitting next to me with a smile on his face. I smiled back and sat up. “No, you looked busy talking to everyone, so I was going to wait until you weren’t doing anything.” I leaned over and hugged him and he hugged me tightly back. “Are you free tomorrow?” He asked. I looked up at him and his face was blank. “I’m not sure. But I’ll text you tomorrow to let you know.” I kissed his cheek and stood up, telling him bye before running back over to Madison.

I fell into his arms and he held me tightly. “I’m tired.” He laughed and picked me up and slung me around to his back and I shrieked with laughter. “Madison!” I set my head on his shoulder and he turned his head and put his lips on mine. I could feel my face getting warm with my blush when I heard a camera click and my lips broke from his.

“Alright, who just took that picture?” My arms tightened around Madison’s neck in fear of falling while I talked. “I did. And it’s adorable.” Maddy tucked her phone back in her pocket and leaned back on Nick who wrapped his arms around her. I smiled and slid down off Madison back and took his hand in mine. “Alright guys, see you later.” Madison and I walked through the spot in the woods back to the sidewalk and walked back to my house.

Madison and I didn’t say much to each other while we walked but we were always connected, either by our hands or his arm around my waist. When we got to the ice cream shop, we walked in and he ordered while I got us a small table on the farthest end. Madison walked over to me carrying a sundae in his hands. He sat across from me and I reached out to take spoon from him but he pushed my hand away. I looked at him questioningly but he just smiled, got some of the ice cream on the spoon, leaned across the table, and placed the spoon in my mouth. I smiled and took the spoon from my mouth and fed him a bite, and this went on for until all the ice cream was gone.

We were walking into my house when my phone went off. When it started playing Glad You Came by The Wanted, I knew it was Maddy and answered it quickly.

Instead of checking the I.D. every time I got a call or text, I just set songs for everyone and memorized who had which song.

“Hey Maddy.” I started walking away from Madison but he grabbed me and pulled me to him. He started brushing his lips along my jaw line and I tried pushing him away before I got distracted.

“Hey Lilly! Alright, so I’m picking up Jackie from the mall now… but something was defiantly wrong. It sounded like she was crying and she said to hurry up because she was sitting on the benches by the doors at the mall.  This doesn’t make any sense because she went there with Vinny, and he would never just leave her there. And he defiantly wouldn’t let her cry like she was.” Maddy’s voice sounded rushed, and I thought I could hear Nick in the back ground.

“Yeah, something defiantly happened, and is that Nick in the back ground?” Madison started to kiss my cheek, his lips getting closer to mine every second. “Madison stop.” I tried to move but his arms tightened around me and I felt him smile. “Yeah, he’s coming with me to pick you guys up and then he’s going home.” Maddy informed me. “Aww, come on babe, let me stay. I promise I’ll be good. I won’t share any of the secrets you guys tell or anything!” I heard nick ask her through the phone. “Maybe. No, stop. You’re not allowed to kiss me when you want something. It’s unfair. No, Nick! Stop, I’m on the phone… NICK. Hey Lilly, I’ll call you later, Nick can’t seem to behave for two minutes to let me talk on the phone.” We both laughed and Madison grabbed the phone from me.

“Nick?”… “Yeah, I was doing the same thing. I think it’s adorable.” … “Just come over here, yeah we can talk about… what we were talking about earlier with Mikey. Alright bro, see you later.” Madison hung up the phone and then slipped it back into my pocket.

“Umm, rude, I was on the phone with Maddy.” I crossed my arms and glared at him. I bet he won’t even know I’m pretending to be mad at him. Ten bucks says he thinks I’m serious. “I’m sorry Lilly, come here.” He stepped forward to give me a hug, but I stepped back. “Lilly.” He groaned and quickly moved to grab me. I dropped to the ground and crawled between his legs and stood up.

“I’m sorry Lilly. Really I am, please don’t be mad at me.” He frowned and came closer to me. He held his arms out to me but I shook my head no and turned to walk upstairs to my room. “Lilly! Please, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you.” Madison looked so upset, and I immediately felt terrible into making him think I was serious. I turned and ran into his arms, hugging him tightly while I crashed my lips to his. The sparks were so strong I never wanted to let go of him, but I finally pulled my lips from his. “Ma-” “Hey I wasn’t done yet.” He smiled and pressed his lips back against mine tightly and pulled me against him. My lungs were starting to hurt when he finally pulled his lips from mine, but I still felt like it wasn’t long enough. “Madison, I’m so sorry. I was just pretending to be mad at you, I wasn’t mad, please forgive me.” I pressed my lips to his to give him a quick peck and then took a step away from him to let him answer.

I felt my eyes starting to fill with tears and tried to hold them back but one escaped and slowly slid down my cheek.

“Aww, Lilly, come here.” Madison reached out and pulled me into his arms, holding onto me tightly while I rested my head on his chest. “I’m sorry.” I whispered again. “Shh, it’s okay. I’m not upset or anything. Don’t cry.” He wiped the tear from my cheek and kissed my forehead. “I still feel bad.” I mumbled. “Don’t. Here, I can be mean then. I’m not going to kiss you until you know everything’s fine.” He smiled and my mouth fell open. “That’s not fair.” “Yes it is.” I leaned up to kiss him and he leaned down, and just when his lips were about to be against mine he slipped from me and ran upstairs.

“Madison!” I ran after him laughing and chased him around the rooms, always keeping my eye on him when he turned into the hall for the bedrooms and I lost him. “Madison?” I checked every room and still couldn’t find him. 

“Madison-n. I have to leave soon, please come out.” I called again.

… No answer.

“Madison?”

…….

“Dang it Madison.”

….

“Alright, since you seem content about staying hidden from me, I guess I’ll call Jake and see if he wants to hang out.” I reached in my pocket and pulled my phone out. I started scrolling through my contacts when I felt someone’s breath on my neck.

“What did you just say?” Madison growled. His voice was cold and it made me shiver. “That since you were hiding and wouldn’t come out, I was going to see if Jake wanted to hang out.” I said, shocked when I sounded confident. Good, that’s how I wanted to sound.

“I. Don’t. Think. So.” Madison said in the same tone again, only putting emphasis on the words. “Why not?” I clicked on Jakes contact and my finger lingered above the call button, knowing he could see my phone just fine. “Because you. Are. Mine.” His hands were immediately on my shoulders, making me jump. “Since when did I become yours? Last time I checked I was mine.” I clicked on the call button and the small window popped up saying “call Jake? Yes or No?”

“The second you became my girlfriend you became mine. Now put your phone away.” I hit no and stuck my phone back in my pocket and just stood there waiting for him to go on. “Thank you.” I could hear the smile in his voice and I shifted my weight to my right foot. “Can I have a kiss now?” “Well I do-”

I spun around and pressed my lips to his and held the sides of his face so he couldn’t move. I could feel him smile under my lips and moved my lips slowly against his. He immediately responded by taking my face in his hands, and then his lips took control and led mine.

Your skin, the touch, the kiss, the rush, too much, and here it comes. When your lips touch mine, it’s the kiss of life. I know that it’s a little bit frightening, we might as well be playing with lightning.

I moved my hands and wrapped my arms around his neck. Everywhere our skin was touching there was electricity, and I was starting to get dizzy from the feeling of our lips moving together. Finally, when I couldn’t take going without air any longer, I moved my lips away from his. “S-sorry… M-Madison, I… needed…to… breathe.” I said through breaths. I rested my forehead against his and closed my eyes. I pressed my lips to his quickly and smiled. His thumbs were rubbing circles in my cheeks and I could tell he was out of breath as well. I hugged him and we heard the bell ring through the house, so I pulled away from him but he pulled me back against him.

“Please don’t leave me.” His grip tightened around me, enough to keep me in place but not enough to hurt me. “Madison, I already promised. I’ll text you once I get to Maddy’s house, and I’ll see you tomorrow. Promise.” I leaned up and kissed him again, and when I tried to separate he grabbed my face in his hands and started to take over the kiss and moved his lips against mine. I didn’t bother to move when I heard the doorbell ring multiple times; I was too caught up in Madison. How does he get his lips so soft?

“Maddy, its Madison and Lilly, they won’t care. HEY GUY’S, GET YOUR BUTS DOWN HERE.” Nick yelled to us. Again I went to move, but Madison held me in place. “I’ll get them.” Nick’s footsteps bounded up the steps and I knew he would turn the corner into the hallway and find us making out, but Madison wouldn’t let me go.

“Found them! Oh… YEAH MADISON GET SOME.” We both smiled and I pushed on his chest but he still wouldn’t move. He held his lips on mine for another minute before moving back. “I don’t even think that will last me till tomorrow.” Madison frowned and started to pull me to him again but Nick grabbed my arm and started to lug me downstairs.

I laughed and blew Madison a kiss. “Hey Nickyballs. Are you staying with my Mad boy tonight?” I laughed at him and he just rolled his eyes. “Yes, I am. Now go on. Jackie needs you.” He pushed me out the door and Maddy led me to the car.

I could see Jackie with tears running down her face when I looked into the backseat and when I was about to ask what was wrong, Maddy shook her head. I let it drop and sat back in my seat. Maddy buckled up next to me and her mom drove us to her house. When we pulled up, Maddy, Jackie and I grabbed the bags and brought them into the house. We went up to Maddy’s room and all climbed on her bed.
